I have installed VMWare Workstation-8 on Windows-7 OS Laptop (Host) and two Linux (OEL-5.8) as Guest OS on VMWare. I am running few Oracle Applications (Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g) and those applications (Console) are running and opening fine in Mozila on Linux Server (Guest OS). Few components are not opening on Mozila as they need some extra plugin.
I Just want to access those application front-end (console) on Host OS (Win-7) through Internet Explorer/Google Crome. So that I can access those extra components (Oracle Applications) properly. I am able to share a folder between Host and Guest OS (and this is working absolutely fine in transfering files).
I cann't ping Guest OS (Linux-5) from Host OS (Win-7). I can ping Linux OS to Linux OS (Guest to Guest). Is there any way to access those Applications Running (on Guest OS) with IE-10/Crome on Host OS. I am sure those components will be fine in IE (having some issue with Mozila on Linux).
Virtual Machine (Linux) Network Adapter : Bridge
Host OS: McAfee Antivirus is there. I guess there is no firewal enabled in Win-7
Please help me to troubleshoot this...
