Dear all,
After seeing the great support being offered on these community forums I just wanted to see if anyone would help in confirming our current setup and whether or not I have done everything to standard procedure.
The hardware we have is:
2 x HP DL380 Servers (8 NICS per host)
2 x HP Switches (Two Subnets)
1 x P2000 Dual Controller (8 NICS)
No Vlans
So at the moment I have this:
Switch A (10.10.10.0)
vmnic0
vmnic1
vmnic7
Switch B (10.10.11.0)
vmnic2
vmnic3
vmnic6
Ignore: Separate LAN switch for management & domain.
vmnic4
vmnic5
Any recommendations/pointers will be appreciated as this is the first time I've set this up and I've only trained myself by these forums. The only thing that's on my to-do list is to tell the separate LAN switch to aggregate the Management ports (4,5) to utilizes inbound traffic to 2Gbic.
Regards
Matt Gibson
