I have IBM m4 servers running esxi5.0 with 4 CNA ports. mgmt port usings 1G port and vmotion too. from CLI I can ping the vmotion IP 10.x ip . but not able to ping itself vkernal port IP 192.168.10.122, neither able to ping storage VIF IP address 192.168.10.131. the two storage can ping each other 192.168.10.131 and 132. they connected to the same pair of nexus 5548 switch. ports on it allows all VLANs and are trunk ports. netapp using LACP. on esxi I tried to use default vlan 0 or changed to vlan 10 both not working. when I changed to vlan 10 for the CNA card I also always lost connection to mgmt port and have to go to DCUI to change back. From esxi to use wwpn to add storage LUN without issue. Now I need to ping the filers so that I can use NFS and iscsi for storage access. any advice which configure is wrong? Thanks.
