Here is the layout:
Workstation 9 hosting
- Active Directory server (Windows 2008 R2) = ADVM
I have to external laptops I would like to add to my Domain
- Laptop1 = LP1
- Laptop2 = LP2
Dummy Switch
- linksys
I went ahead and set my ADVM to bridge network to the host. Connected my Host to the switch, and connected LP1 and LP2 to the switch.
I'm able to ping successfully!
But I'm unable to connect to the domain for some reason 
I have checked Network settings on the laptop and verified that the correct
- DNS IP Address
- Subnet
- Range
- Gateway
- Disabled the Firewall
- Disabled any anti-virtus
Still can not add the laptops to the Domain...not sure if there is a simple fix for this
