Hi,
I have always been under the impression that I can assign what-ever private space net for each virtual network - right?
I have made a vmnet1 with an attached virtual adapter and assigned vmnet1 IP subnet 10.1.0.0 /24
It was my plan to make vmnet2 as 10.2.0.0 and so on - but a problem stopped me.
The virtual adapter got a wrong IP address assigned - it got 192.168.204.1
But then I realized - it was also getting the right IP address 10.1.0.1
I have attached the screen shot -
And yes - the computer has been restarted - and yes - I have restore defaults settings in Virtual Network Editor - twice - and still the same - the extra IP can be removed - but it returns after a few seconds.
Best regards
