I've found that importing a virtual machine with more network adapters than defined networks on VMware Workstation, VMware Workstation will hang indefinitely. You may even add more network cards to any VM. As soon as you exceed the defined networks the configuration dialog will hang forever. It is impossible to remove the added network cards again, because just opening the dialog the dialog hangs forever "loading virtual networks ..."
