I’ve read a handful of posts regarding Virtualizing Snow Leopard, apologize if I’m beating the dead horse here, but I was wondering if this is possible…
I have a new (refurbished) MBP running Mountain Lion. My old MPB is also running a clean install of Mountain Lion.. The original OS on my old MBP was Snow Leopard. I want to use that (I have the original DVD and dmg) for some testing. This is only going to be used for in-house Dev testing. Not as a new machine. For example I need to test connecting to MS Active Directory (2003, 2008, 2012). Snow Leopard is not installed on any other machine, will only be on the VM.
Can I make a VM with that Install disk? So far I’ve been unsuccessful.. Or can I install SL to a external USB drive and virtualize that disk for a VM?
thanx
