Hi all -

OS: WIndows Vista Ultimate x64

I went to boot up VMWare Workstation the other day, and it just wouldn't open, i would click on the .exe file, and nothing would happen, no processes started running, no splash screens opened up, nothing.  I went to repair the isntall VMWare.Workstation.6.5.8 Installer Error - "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.  You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them." and i go the error message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.  You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them."  the first time i opened it.  Every time after that, the splash screen would pop up for less than a second, and then go away, and nothing would happen.   The only way I can get the error message to pop up again, is to move the install file to a new location and then open it up again, and then it just repeats what it has been doing.

I have verified that I am indeed Administrator of the comptuer and have full RWX access and the install file is not on an external HDD or any unrecognizable device.  Help, please!
