SRM 5.1: Add Command with PowerCLI script, logging does not work

Hey everyone,

 

I implemented SRM 5.1 and have been successful so far. I'm now in the phase of making all the really nice extras that makes SRM worth the extra money. However, as base of my implementation I used Mike Laverick's book "Administering VMwqre Site Recovery Manager 5.0" which has been excellent so far. I now face an issue with one of the tips in the book which I'm stuck at.

 

At page 325 Mike describes how to add scripts to a recovery plan using a script, which uses the "Start-Transcript $logfile" to create a logfile.

 

I created my own script and added the required lines to create the logfile, which, if run by the service account from the powershell window completely works. So not only the script, but also the logging works.

 

Now if I add the script to run as an extra step the script works completely, the logfile gets created but the only thing inside the script is:

Is there anybody who knows how to fix this? Again, the script runs successful (I see the results) and if started on the commandline by the same user the logfile displays also, for example:
