Hello, I know for a bridged connection, a user needs a physical NIC for each bridge they want to make but im abit stumped about NAT. The connection from the virtual adapter is to a virtual NAT device and then the host translates the ip address of the VM so that to the external network it looks like the hosts ip address, does this mean that there can only be one NAT connection if the host machine only has 1 physical NIC? if not, how does the host machine know which VM to send the packets to when data is been sent in from the outside network to the hosts ip address? and is there a limit to the amount of VMs that can use NAT per physical NIC? Thanking you in advance.
