I installed Linux Mint 12 on an external hard drive in it's own folder with 50.0gb of disk space. I intalled Linux Mint without any troubles. I then went to the update manager and downloaded 382 updates. In the middle of the updates I received an error stating that I had "0" bytes left on the drive. The error message I received stated, 2.1gb used and 0 bytes available. I am stumped on what is going on. I am using a Toshiba External hard drive 1 terabyte. I have only used 207GB so far. I am also running Ubuntu and puppy Linux on the same workstation without problems.
Here is my setup:
memory 1GB
Hard Disk 50GB
Working Directory : G:\Linux Mint 12
I stored it as a single file. I have done it several times and still get problems with disk space. I am not using my C:\drive virtual machine directory everything is in the G:\Linux Mint 12 directory (which is my external hard drive). Please advise.
