Best Practices About vCPU Sizing

Hello,

I know, more virtual CPU can degrading performance and increasing CPU ready but many times one CPU with single core can't do any tasks with high performance.

I have a question, which is better:

1. One socket and 4 cores
2. Two sockets and 2 cores
3. One socket and one core (Especially for real timing voice streaming - based on my experiences, it has lowest DPC latencies)
4. One soket and 3 cores

CPU resources are unlimited.

I have 4 socket and 16 cores per socket on my hosts.
