I am trying to install SRM 8.1 on a Windows 2016 Standard server but I keep getting the following error:
Error 25239: Failed to configure Site Recovery Manager Client.Details: Failed to acquire token from SSO Server at 'https://PSC_server/sts/STSService/vsphere.local'
Just for a little background on the environment, I have a vCenter server with external PSC. The environment is a vSphere 6.5 Built 8307201. The certificate on the PSC was replaced with one issued from our internal CA. The PSC is also configured as an intermediate CA.
SRM installation on the protected site went well without an issue. The protected site is using a different PSC.
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I have a 14.1.3 version of VMware i can `t see wifi adaptor on the virtual machine, i installed driver on windows Virtual machine but the driver don`t find any wifi adaptor (ethernet works)
I have installed VC 6.5 with SRM 6.5, also I have installed VR 6.5.1 and started the replication .
After 2 hours the replication stop suddenly and I can't find the VR plug-in inside Vcenter. I tried to restart the PSC and Vcenter and VR but not luck - Also unregister and register VR, but didn;t work.
Any idea how to solve this issue.

We have 2*ESXi 6.5 server. Each server have dedicated 2 Physical NIC reserved for software iSCSI storage. Can anyone tell, if i should create one vSwitch with both the NIC as active or i should create two switch with each of the individual NIC. In any case, Port binding are require to be configured ?

My 286MB locker-Parition on my System sd-card is corrupt.
How can I format this Partition?
I tried to repair the filesystem with
dosfsck -a -w /dev/disks/mpx.vmhba32:0:T0:l0:8
but it Fails (could not auto-correct)
Interactive mode (dosfsck -r) crashes.
other partitions on my sd-card (bootbank, altbootbank) are still working.

We have new Cisco UCS servers with recent Intel Xeon generation processors - EVC enabled Sandy Bridge.
Our old cluster is HPE DL380 G9 and G8 - EVC disabled.
I am unable to migrate the VMs on old cluster while powered on because of CPU incompatibility.
I see this method for unlike hosts in the same cluster. Moving vacated hosts to a new created cluster with EVC enabled, then moving VMs to it.

i installed (deply ovf) vSphere replication appliance v6.1.2 in my vcenter v6.0.0 build 7924803. (with 2 ESXi in v6.0.0, 3380124)
The deployment went very well and the configuration VR with the vcenter also.
In the vcenter log, i can see that "the plug-in vsphere replication v6.1.2 deployment was done".
But i can see the plugin on the web interface and in the administration > Plug-in also.
I have tried to restart web service, clean cache, remove directory C:\ProgramData\VMware\vCenterServer\data\vSphere Web Client\SerenityDB\serenity
But i can't found the solution !

I accidently hit one more zero to my hard disk 2 (none bootable drive) and want to remove the zero again. However, the web client refused to let me reduce the vmdk file that I have not expanded yet in my OS, thus, should be safety reduce or amend back to the original size.
How can I reverse or reduce the capacity? Amend the vmdk file?

I am trying to implement vSphere replication between two sites, same SSO domain. Each site with its own vCenter server and its own PSC. Site 1 has 2 PSC actually.
vSphere replication appliance 01 is connected to VCS01 (this senter has two PSC, PSC01 and PSC03)
vSphere replication appliance 02 is connected to VCS02 (this one has only one PSC, PSC02)
Attached you may find the picture with the structure for the vSphere replication, as shown in vCenter.
When I open the SITE RECOVERY, for the first site, in order to configure the replication, I get the errors - see the attached picture.
The same goes for site two.
There is no problem with DNS or time settings.
What could be the issue?
I am using vSphere 6.7 and the same version of vCenter.
Any tips much appreciated.

I don't see a trigger for it or Alert for it.
This host server Cisco UCS Blade has lost its recognition of the local SD Card that has the vSphere OS installed.
We did not get an alert about this, I noticed it.
Anyone have a suggestion for how to alert for this?

I have just rent a dedicated server and my operating system is ESXi 6.5.0d, 64 bits. have to run 5-6 virtual machines with Windows 10. Should i use VMware vCenter Server 6.5.0d?
Hi all,
Was able to successfully install ESXi 6.5u2, reboot it and re-authenticate to the console, reconfigure the management IP using the credentials i entered for the root.
The server can ping its gateway properly.
On my PC, i can ping the newly set up server once it became available.
However, when i tried logging-in as root on the web login, it says
Cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password.
Wonder what is causing this or what is the fix for this?

We have a Cisco UCS b200 M5 server that has lost its recognition of local SD cards, that hold the OS for boot.
Causing an error in vSphere related to it.
I am not sure it is related, but do see unexpected and not understood logins shortly before the first error directly on the host.
I've checked the /var/log/auth.log but do not see entries for this time (for some reason).
I've identified the "client" ip in the Description column, but did not see clear evidence yet when I logged into the server of unauthorized activity, yet.
Anyone have suggestions for how to determine where these logins came from and what they represent?

This was not an issue on openSUSE Leap 42.3 but I have upgraded to openSUSE 15.0
All is working ok when I start and load VMs but when I try to install VMWare tools, the download begins, asks for root privileges which are given but then fails with the error
"There was a problem updating a software component. Try again later and if the problem persists, contact VMware Support or your system administrator."
Nothing about vmware tools in the log at this point.
Other than tools, everything else is working.
