tried with the KB's still same issue. We are using vsphere6.5u1g

Maybe the solution is that use another mail server, not gmail? It is problem because gmail keeps our corporate domain and corporate mailboxes.

Horizon 7.3.1 VM Display Protocol performance?
Hello folks,
I have this one user that continues to have poor user experience on his VM.
vSphere 6.5
Horizon server 7.3.1 Agent 7.3.1 Client 4.6.1
Windows 7 VM - 2 monitors 1920x1080 resolution, 8GB RAM, 4 vCPUs.
When we reboot his VM, he opens his two monitor session, opens apps (Dell TOAD, email, Skype), etc.
Experience is good.
Over time (sometimes days), his session because more unresponsive. It takes several seconds to move windows around, the display catches up.
We've tried one monitor session, better but something still wrong. We tried RDP, it was better, but not preferred. We tried Blast, better but still see a delay...
No one else is really having this problem. CPU and RAM utilization is low.
Anyone have an suggestions or what to look for in which logs?
What tweaks could make PCoIP better?

Mouse click not working Workstation Pro 14.1.1 build - 7528167
This was working prior to a PC upgrade. I went from a Asrock z77 Extreme 4 motherboard with 16GB of memory and an Intel i5 3570k, to a Gigabyte Z370XP SLI motherboard 16GB of memory and an Intel i7 8700. I transferred my drives, did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro Version 1709 (OS Build 16299.251), My VMs reside on a secondary storage drive so I opened them in workstation. I have tried reinstalling VMware Workstation, recreating the preferences.ini located in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\VMware\, recreating the virtual machine and reinstalling vmware tools. I checked another VM and encounter the same issue. So I can CTRL+ALT to break input to the host and it will allow me to click one time, after that it acts as if the mouse buttons are not working. Has anyone ran into this or does anyone have anything I can try? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Send clipboard as keystrokes to guest VM?
Hello,
I know that it is easy possible to transfer clipboard content to guest OS, when guest Windows (or VM Tools) are ready booted.
But I want to do the following:
On some machines I have a pre-boot password. Is there any possibility to send the text of the clipboard to the guest VM as keystrokes?
I know, that it is not to advice to copy / paste passwords, but these are test machines and I don't want to enter that long password everytime manually.
So is there a way to send the text of the host clipboard to the guest VM at a point of time where VM Tools are not loaded? Any special key combination?

A issue related to request VRA catalog item with software components
Good evening, All.
We are use VRA 7.3 with ESXi 6.0 Patch 6
We have blueprint with software components that include some script to install SQL server,Antivirus agent and some third party software.
When I request item from VRA GUI , it successful deploy vm with the script running
When I request through REST API , with request template( I am use PowrVra . The machine was deployed, but the script apparently not running
Does anybody running into similar issue?

Workstation 15: Display Problems
Moin. in the new version workstation,
in the new version Workstation Pro version 15.x I observe an abnormal behavior of the VMs.
The respective VM, or the contained machine becomes briefly black and returns afterwards again. The process takes about 1.5 to 2 seconds and is repeated at different intervals.
Here must be urgently repaired.

purposes of EVC mode
Hi,
I know EVC mode has been discussed many times but do I have it correct that:
Purposes of EVC mode:
* Force hosts with newer processors joining the cluster to run without newer processor's additional instruction sets hence making vmotion from new host to older hosts compatible?
* Prevent hosts with older processors from joining the cluster
If a VM running on older CPU instruction set is moving to a host with newer or same level of processors, regardless it's standalone-to-cluster, cluster-to-cluster (with or without EVC on either cluster), it won't have CPU compatibility issue?

Player 15 won't run: Ubuntu 18.04, UEFI, vmmon, vmnet
I'm trying out Player 15, hoping to upgrade to Workstation Pro. But I can't get either to run.
I have the dreaded "could not open /dev/vmmon". I've followed these instructions several times now:
and the keys seem to be loaded. But running
$ sudo /usr/src/linux-headers-`uname -r`/scripts/sign-file sha256 ./MOK.priv ./MOK.der $(modinfo -n vmmon) libkmod: ERROR ../libkmod/libkmod.c:586 kmod_search_moddep: could not open moddep file '/lib/modules/4.15.0-34-generic/modules.dep.bin' modinfo: ERROR: Module alias vmmon not found.
So some other suggested:
$ sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all ... Starting VMware services: Virtual machine monitor failed Virtual machine communication interface done VM communication interface socket family done Blocking file system done Virtual ethernet failed VMware Authentication Daemon done
I've attached the output from that last command.
When I try to run Player (or Workstation) it tells me multiple modules need to be compiled but doing so seems to be of no effect.
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. No difference.
Can anyone instruct me on how to get either Player or Workstation running on a UEFI Ubuntu 18.04 system? Thanks.

Skyline Advisor Login Issues
Hello,
Some customers may have mentioned that they are unable to access Skyline Advisor, even when they are using the same MyVMware credentials as what was used to register the Skyline Collector Appliance. This was due to some backend validation logic that was too conservative, far more so than what was acceptable in registering the Collector. This conservative approach has affect 20-30% of customers attempting to access the system.
Skyline Engineering has implemented a solution today that should address those 20-30% of our customers that are having difficulty accessing Skyline Advisor. There is a scenario where if a user is associated to multiple EAs and those EAs are also associated to different Skyline IDs that the user will need to select which EA they would like to see the data from the Skyline Advisor UI.
Please update this thread if you continue to have an issue logging the Skyline Advisor.

Has any one found / have a solution for - Mouse repeatable loses focus after a short time. Focus restored by moving mouse to top of screen over Vmware menu bar.

VCSA upgrade sequence with multiple VCSA & External PSC
We have two sites, each site has a VCenter appliance with an external PSC. The PSC’s are in the same domain and the VCenter's are running in linked mode. Everything is running VCSA 6.0 update2
When applying an update to the VCSA environment (such as update 2a or 6.5), what is the proper sequence to update them?
I'm assuming the process is to both PSC's, then go back in and update each vcenter, but I just wanted to make sure.
Any comments are appreciated.

Purple Error on my Server using VMware Esxi 5.5.0
Hello everyone,
I have issued on my HP Blade Server BL460 (C7000 enclosure).
I installed VMware Esxi 5.5.0 on the server and everthing was working fine until today. I got a purple screen that shows the error and when i tried to reboot the server, it was only working normally in 5 minutes before turning to the purple screen.
Please help me to solve it if anyone experiences it.

Startmenu after first user login building up very slow with UEM 9.4 and Win1709 and 1803

my Startmenu after first user login is building up very slow with UEM 9.4 and Win1709 and 1803. We trigger UEM Startup over GPO "Run FlexEngine as Group Policy Extension", not with FlexEngine.exe -r at Startup.
I test this with 6 User, 4 without and 2 with local Admin.
We use a fix layout.xml for the startmenu so the user cant customize his start layout. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. If I try it on Clients without installed UEM 9.4 it works 100%, if I try it on Clients with installed UEM 9.4 it depends… 50/50 Chance...

We use local profiles.
The Symptomes, if the startmenu is not correct working, are every time the same... we have to wait around 20 seconds to see Windows building up all Apps one by one in the Startmenu and then no Windows tiles are Building up because we think UEM Service is Blocking something ?
Anything else with this Problem? UEMdev do you have any idea ?

OneDrive Files on demand - Removing shortcuts for all users

While I understand benefits for OneDrive Files on Demand, I would like to remove this shortcut for all users. I understand that OneDrive auto-installs and updates for all users, so I cannot uninstall OneDrive from Windows completely. I have already disabled it via GPO, but I would like to disable the Start Menu item via UEM. If I do the following import/export, it's redundant as OneDrive will check/update/install each time:

Upgrading 9.1 UEM and it's profile 1607 LTSB to 1809 SAC
As documented in some shared configs on this site, we have start menu layout and file type association persistence working in UEM 9.1 and Windows 10 1607 LTSB. Now it's time to upgrade to UEM 9.+ 180[3,9] SAC. I see there are more straight forward solutions in UEM now to persist these settings. How do I run these settings concurrently during a migration ? Do I make a separate computer ou and gpo for 180x with corresponding UEM config and duplicate profile dirs?

Upgrading from macOS Mojave DP11 to release version
Hi, I've been successfully running macOS Mojave DP11 (18A389) as a Fusion 11 virtual machine. I'd like to upgrade that machine to Mojave release version (18A391, if I'm not mistaken). Unfortunately, if I try to run the Mojave installer, it immediately complains that the Mac it is running on (the Fusion virtual machine, naturally) doesn't have a Metal GPU, which, naturally, is true. I had imagined that Fusion 11 would include code to make Mojave imagine a virtual Metal card was in place. Is there a way to bypass this?
